Only one offer can be submitted by you for each flight in association with the purchased ticket, whether the offer made directly with EgyptAir or indirectly through another channel (such as a travel agent) shall entitle the person or persons on the offer, subject to these Terms and Conditions, to be considered for an upgrade which can be paid by either Visa or Mastercard Only.
4. EgyptAir reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decide whether or not to accept your Offer, and it makes no representation that any passenger will be upgraded regardless of whether or not seats are available in the class of service for which an Offer is being made.
5.The passenger may revise or cancel his/her Offer through the hyperlink on the offer email within the time frame indicated in your confirmation email, provided that his/her Offer has not already been accepted by EgyptAir and provided his/her credit card has not been charged. However, if the Offer is accepted before he/she cancels or amends the Offer, he/she is legally bound to complete payment for the price stated in the original Offer.
6.Passenger's compatible offer with these terms and conditions is been valid from submission till the departure of the flight or till the actual departure time of the flight in case of any delay of the flight scheduled departure time as long as you also did not receive an email indicating that your offer had been expired and you may revise or cancel your offer as long as your offer has not already been accepted by the airline.
7. If you choose to submit a bidding upgrade offer, you agree that your offer will remain open for acceptance by EgyptAir at any time before the scheduled flight. You may review or cancel your offer as long as it has not already been accepted by EgyptAir. If your offer is accepted before you cancel or modify it, you will be bound to pay for the amount stated in your offer and you will not be entitled to withdraw you offer.
8. If you decide to choose the instant upgrade, you agree that your offer will remain available for acceptance by EgyptAir for and during this period, you are not entitled to withdraw your offer. If your offer is accepted you are obligated to purchase the upgrade and will be obligated to pay the amount stated in your offer.
9. In the event EgyptAir re-accommodates the passenger to another flight (operated by EgyptAir) for any reason, the offer that customer made in relation to the original booking may be transferred to the new flight(s), subject to availability of the upgraded class.
10. In the event EgyptAir accepts your Offer, your credit card shall be charged the full amount of the Offer immediately upon acceptance, and EgyptAir will send an email mentioning the acceptance of the upgrade offer of each passenger included in your offer. The total amount charged will include all applicable taxes and fees (if any) for the Upgrade. An Upgrade that has been accepted by EgyptAir cannot be assigned, or transferred by you, in whole or in part to another person or flight.
11. If your offer is accepted and you have already reserved a special meal before, that meal will no longer be available.
12. Your credit card may be charged under the name "UPGRADE MS" or something similar, depending on the entity collecting the upgrade fee on behalf of EgyptAir. The traveler agrees that they cannot dispute the maximum charge amount due to the name appearing on the credit card statement as mentioned above.
13. Once your offer is accepted by EgyptAir and the amount is deducted from your credit card, there will be no refunds or transfers of any amounts, except under the following conditions:
a. If the flight for which the offer was accepted and passenger were upgraded is cancelled, and EgyptAir re-accommodated the passenger on another flight but in the original booking class of service, in which case the amount paid for the upgrade will be refunded to the payment card that was used to pay the upgrade fee, and EgyptAir will not bear any further responsibility towards the passenger.
b. Passenger’s offer was accepted and received the upgrade, but the passenger was unable to sit in the upgraded service class for reasons attributable to EgyptAir, including, but not limited to, equipment changes and delays in your transit flight, which resulted that the passenger isn’t being able to travel on the transit flight he/she was upgraded to, but excluding reasons attributable to Passenger’s actions, including but not limited to, your choice to change your flight, or your being late for your flight.
As per the above, refunds would be limited to amount charged for the upgrade with the same transaction currency, no compensation would be offered, only the upgrade offer amount will be refunded.
14. The fare conditions for the original ticket you purchased shall remain in effect and will be applicable even if your Offer has been accepted with respect to cancellation policies, change fees, conditions for minimum and maximum stay and other conditions.
15. Business class meals are subject to availability during last minute airport upgrade.
