EGYPTAIR was the official carrier of the World Taekwondo Cadet Championship held in Sharm El Sheikh from 24-27August2017. The championship is considered one of the biggest championships in the region where around 3000 players from 120 countries participated. Egypt obtained the approval to organize this championship after submitting required file for its organization to the International Taekwondo Federation. The city of Sharm El Sheikh was chosen for holding the championship as a way to promote tourism.
