Due to several countries closing their airspace because of the ongoing events in the Middle East, and as EGYPTAIR has temporarily suspended or been affected in operating its flights to certain destinations on a daily basis starting from February 28, 2026, the following updated procedures apply:

*These instructions concern cancelled flights between February 28, 2026, and April 20, 2026

For individual tickets:

• Tickets issued for suspended flights can be changed involuntarily to:
• The same destination, or any other regularly operating destination in the Gulf or Middle East, Only on EGYPTAIR flights, with a latest travel date of May 20, 2026 (through EGYPTAIR call center or sales offices).
• Refunds are allowed with no refund fees for passengers holding confirmed bookings on cancelled EGYPTAIR flights.
• The full ticket value can be converted into an EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) for future transportation use (via EGYPTAIR sales offices or call center).
• Passengers may change their route to destinations outside the Middle East or Gulf based on their preference:
• No penalties apply
• Any fare difference must be paid if applicable

For group bookings:

• Deposits or issued group tickets for cancelled flights can be transferred for use in future group bookings, whether domestic or international.

For flights that are NOT cancelled:

• Changes are allowed either before or after the original booking date,
  but fare rules and any applicable fare differences will apply.
