If you have any special or heavy items of baggage, or extra baggage which is over your free allowance, you should be aware of what arrangements you need to make before you travel. Additional pieces over your free allowance are charged at the rates listed below. The following charges are in CAD dollars:

For passengers exceeding their baggage allowance:

  • The above mentioned prices apply only on flights operated and marketed by EGYPTAIR . 
  • The weight of one additional piece of baggage is 23 kg for Economy Class and Business Class, in case its weight is between 23 kg/50 lbs. and 32 kg/70 lbs. an extra charge should be collected in addition to the original additional bag price.
  • The total dimensions of one additional piece of baggage is 158 cm/62 inches, in case its dimensions is between 158 cm/62 inches and 203 cm/79 inches. an extra charge should be collected in addition to the original additional bag price.
  • Overweight and oversize is c​harged double of the overweight or oversize price.
  • The overweight must not exceed 32 Kgs and the oversize must not exceed the 203cm (Total sum of Lenght +Width+ Height).
  • Oversize: more than 158cm (Total sum of Lenght +Width+ Height) /62 inch till 203cm (Total sum of Lenght +Width+ Height) /79 inch.
  • For routes to the United States other than New York and Washington, as well as Canada other than Toronto, a fee of $100 for (23 kg) or $75 for (10 kg) should be collected in addition to the original additional bag price with the addition of overweight and oversized if any.
  • Excess baggage is accepted subject to space availability.
  • Please arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your normal check-in time in case of possessing excess baggage.
  • Currency exchange may affect the amount to be paid.
  • Applicable taxes are not included in the prices.
  • Our check-in facilities will close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight.
  • Passengers who exceed the weight limit will be asked to repack their excess baggage into smaller units and pay the appropriate charges before the check in.​
  • Change fees : Free.
  • Refund fees : 50 %.
  • No Show fees : Free.
