In accordance with the General Conditions of Carriage and the IATA DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATIONS, the following items are absolutely forbidden for carriage as checked or unchecked baggage both by passenger and crew since these articles are dangerous to flight safety:
- Samsung Galaxy Note7
- Compressed gasses (flammable, non-flammable and poisonous) such as aerosols, camping gas.
- Explosives, ammunitions, fireworks and flares (except sporting firearms which doesn’t exceed 5kg of ammunitions per passenger and a max of 2 rifles).
- Ethologic agents (chemical reagent).
- Flammable liquid and solids such as (lighter, matches, paints, thinner).
- Corrosives ( such as acids , alkalis, wet cell batteries … etc )
- Irritants
- Knives, daggers, swords...Etc
- Oxidizing material (bleaching powder...etc)
- Radioactive material
- Miscellaneous hazardous goods (such as mercury, noxious materials, magnetized materials or offensive material)
- Briefcases with installed alarm devices or that are lithium battery operated.
- According to the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) – SAFO (Safety Alert For Operators) its recommended that the e-cigarettes and related devices must be carried in the carry bags not in checked baggage.
- Recreational Mobility Devices such as self-balancing hover boards are PROHIBITED on board Egyptair flights as checked or carry on baggage.

Power banks:
In an ongoing effort to enhance onboard safety, EGYPTAIR has updated its policy regarding the use and transport of portable power banks. While passengers are still allowed to bring a power bank in their carry-on baggage, the use of power banks during the flight is now strictly prohibited. This means you cannot use them to charge personal devices or connect them to the aircraft’s power supply at any time during the flight.
-Each passenger is allowed to carry one power bank with a capacity of 100 watts in their personal bags on the plane without using or charging it on board.
-Boarding any power bank that does not have capacity and type information written on it will be prohibited.
-Power banks must be kept in the seat pocket or in a bag under the seat in front of the passenger.
No in-flight use is allowed; charging devices using a power bank while onboard is strictly prohibited.
Checked luggage restriction: Power banks are not allowed in checked baggage under any circumstances.
Passengers are strongly encouraged to declare any power banks to EGYPTAIR staff during check-in to ensure all safety requirements are met.

In view Of the recent fire incident involving the MOBIKINS MK-PB-04 power
bank, and considering the potential safety risks associated with it, the travelling public
and airlines are hereby advised to ensure that the MOBIKINS MK-PB-04 power bank
is not carried or transported on board the aircraft, whether as passenger baggage
(including checked-in and cabin baggage) or as cargo, on any flight to, from, or within
India.
None of the following types of Anker power banks are permitted on flights, either in passengers’ carry-on baggage in the aircraft cabin or in the aircraft’s cargo hold.

Airwheel:
-Airwheels are accepted in carry-on baggage only with the following conditions :
-Rideable motorized ,smart, and connected suitcase
-With removable battery with maximum 100WH for lithium ion or 02 gram for lithium metal.
-With non-spillable battery with maximum 12volt.
-In case of accepted air wheel on hold , the battery should be removed and kept with customer on cabin.
